Review: Swan's Seduction
I went back to shoot with Luca of Swan’s Seduction for a second time and thought I would tell you a little more about my experience.
Luca has a studio in their home in Amsterdam and is extremely clever in setting up amazing colourful back drops based on your outfits. My first shoot appointment with them we shot three different outfits inside, but this time we were going out!
Amsterdam might not immediately spring to mind as the location for the leafy setting in the photo but the city has many little hidden parks and after a short walk past a busy road and many high-rise apartment buildings we arrived in this little oasis where it was really quiet and calm. The weather was humid but we managed to avoid any actual rain. (the hair must be protected at all costs haha)
A photographer that gives you short and to the point direction is the best type of photographer in my opinion and Luca is one of them. Gentle suggestions and lots of freedom to move and pose comfortably.
Juxtaposition
For a more urban setting this true vintage outfit was perfect. Luca knows their neighbourhood well and proved they can find great backgrounds outside as well. I love the contrast of the vintage look with the modern buildings.
More about Swan’s Seduction A lot of the photo shoots in their portfolio are boudoir/lingerie shoots but don’t let that keep you from booking a fully clothed shoot as I’ve done. I did do a third look inside in a bathing suit but you can wear whatever you like. Find their website here or visit their instagram profile.
